Dress Hire Policy
The laws of Australia govern our Terms and Conditions which stipulate our dress hire policy.
By accessing and using the Your Sisters Wardrobe website at www.yoursisterswardrobe.com.au you are consenting and accepting to the practices in these terms of use.
How it works:
Select Your Event Date: You can now select the exact date of your event when placing your order. Your dress will arrive or be ready for pick up 1-2 days before your selected event date, ensuring it's ready for you to wear!
Hire Duration: All hires are for a 3-day period. We kindly request that you return the dress within 1-2 business days after your event. This ensures we have the item available for future bookings.
Longer Rentals: If you need the dress for a longer period, please feel free to contact us via Instagram @_yoursisterswardrobe to arrange an extension.
Returning by Post: If returning via post, please send us a photo of you placing the parcel in an express post box. You can send this to us through our Instagram account @_yoursisterswardrobe.
High End Hires
Some of our more expensive dresses require a copy of the customers ID to ensure the dress is returned to us. A file attachment can be found under the date selection on the dresses hire page, you will be required to attach a copy of your ID before you can add the dress to cart. We will never disclose any details of your ID to others, however, if the garment is not returned, we reserve the right to disclose your ID information to the police and they will be in contact with you to have the dress returned. If there is no request for ID on the dresses hire page, then we do not require it, and you can go ahead with the hire process as usual.
Cleaning the garments
We kindly request that you do not attempt to clean your hire we as do not want the clothing to become damaged. If you attempt to clean the garment yourself and it becomes damaged, you may be required to pay full RRP for your hire.
The hire price listed on the website is already inclusive of the cleaning fee.
Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order 7 or more days before your hire date, we will issue a full refund back to your nominated bank account. If you wish to cancel within 7 days of the first date of your hire period, you will be offered a non-expiring store credit.
If you contact us after we have dispatched your garment, we cannot issue a cancellation of your order, and no refund will be available.
Late fees
In cases where your dress has not been returned to Your Sisters Wardrobe by the rental return date we reserve the right to charge additional hire fees until the dress has been returned. Your Sisters Wardrobe will deduct $15 from the customers credit card which was provided when the order was placed.
If the item has not been returned within 10 days after the return date, Your Sisters Wardrobe will consider the rental item(s) as non-returned and will charge the customers credit card 100% of the recommended retail value, minus any late fees that the customer has already paid. The rental fee will not be subtracted.
Damages
Customers will not attempt to clean, repair or alter the garment(s) at any time. We understand that accidents can happen and majority of stains or tears can be repaired easily by us. However, if we can not repair any damages ourselves, your deposit will not be refunded and will instead be used for repairs. If you damage the hire beyond repair, the credit card used at the time of booking will be charged 100% of the RRP or you can seek to replace the hire yourself.
